The CCPC provides the opportunity for all competent workers in the field of addiction and related fields, to be certified and recognized as Professional Addiction/Gambling Counsellors and Supervisors.
The Purpose of AGC Certification is to recognize those who have acquired a minimum level of training, skills and effectiveness as a Gambling Counsellor.
This designation is granted to those who are currently working in the addictions field but who have not yet completed the educational requirements and experience of a CGC.
After receiving the designation it is expected that the person will continue to attend workshops, seminars and courses that will help them to achieve full certification.

Keeping Your Certification in Good Standing
To keep your certification in good standing you must renew annually at your anniversary date. Certificate holders will receive notification 30 days prior to this date from the CCPC.
