Canadian Council of Professional Certification

The CCPC provides the opportunity for all competent technicians in wind energy, to be certified and recognized as professionals in their field.

The purpose of AWT Certification is to recognize, by way of the certification process, those who have acquired a minimum level of training, skills and effectiveness as a Wind Technician.

This designation is granted to those who are currently working in the field but who have not yet completed the educational requirements and experience of a CWT.

After receiving the designation, it is expected that the person will continue to attend workshops, seminars and courses that will help them to achieve full certification.
