Wind and renewable energy are the fastest growing forms of energy in Canada. The CCPC is committed to insuring professional standards in the renewable energy sector and provide the opportunity for competent engineers to be recognized as qualified professionals in this field.

The Purpose of CREDB Certification is to recognize, by way of the certification process, those who have acquired an acceptable level of training, skills and effectiveness in the renewable energy field.

The focus of certification is:
1) To provide the avenue for qualified persons who have studied, worked, and developed skills in the wind energy field to receive professional recognition.
2) To provide the public with confidence that Professionals, Engineers and Technicians have attained an acceptable level of competency.
3) To provide Certified Professionals, Engineers and Technicians with encouragement and opportunity for continual education and professional development.
