Canadian Council of Professional Certification

Wind and renewable energy are the fastest growing forms of energy in Canada. The CCPC is committed to insuring professional standards in the renewable energy sector and provide the opportunity for competent renewable energy specialists to be recognized as qualified professionals in this field.

The Purpose of CRES and ARES Certification is to recognize, by way of the certification process, those who have acquired an acceptable level of training, skills and effectiveness in the renewable energy field.

The focus of certification is:
1) To provide the avenue for qualified persons who have studied, worked, and developed the skills in the renewable energy field to receive professional recognition.
2) To provide the public with confidence that Certified Renewable Energy Specialists have attained an acceptable level of competency.
3) To provide Certified Renewable Energy Specialists with encouragement and opportunity for continual education and professional development.
