Our focus is on that of raising awareness regarding trauma and attachment and it's impact on human development and laying the blueprint for later life relations; on learning how to regulate the impact of these, and how to promote healing and resiliency.
This workshop is ideal for clinician's and helping professionals (of all disciplines and target ages), parents, caregivers, and foster parents.
Key Note speakers include:
Dr. Daniel Siegel (author of the Whole-Brain Child, Mindsight, The Healing Power of Emotion, and Parenting from the Inside Out). Dr. Siegel will be presenting on Resiliency and Neural Integration: Harnessing the power of relationships and reflection to cultivate and maintain well-being. * We are thrilled to have Dr. Siegel presenting for us he is a wealth of information and I have been waiting for him to present in Ontario for some time now. Although this will be via live/interactive feed this is a workshop you won't want to miss!
Dr. Cathy Malchiodi (author of Trauma-Informed Practices with Children and Adolescents, Art Therapy and Healthcare, and Creative Interventions with Traumatized Children).

Dr. David Berceli (founder of Tension and Trauma Releasing Exercises (TRE) and author of Trauma Releasing Exercises). Dr. Berceli will be presenting on Tension and Trauma Releasing Exercises (TRE) focusing on re-attaching to on's self to promote inner awareness and self-healing.
We will also have a special panel providing insight to working with and supporting military families. During a time when our troops are returning and families are in need of support this will provide vital information to inform the services school, child welfare organizations, healthcare systems,and clinicians provide.
